ProBoards apparently has one global user name for all proboards in the world. A while back Starglider set up a temporary WOS forum using proboard and what I found is my username and email address from there were still active here. I couldn't remember the password I used so tried to recover by email. I got the link, was logged into the Starglider temporary forum but was unable to change password because that forum is now down (in maintenance mode). Long story short, if you have one proboard account from Starglider's forum, it is not possible to use the same username unless you remember the password because you can neither delete the account not change the password without knowing the old one.
Probably a useless story but maybe it will save some confusion for someone out there.

Wow, did not know that, Alvin :/ Thanks for letting us know, we can do nothing about, but at least we know the problem and how to solve it alternatively. Thanks and welcome to the ZX Dev! why don´t you start coding a game again? it is been a lot of time, hasn´t it?  |

And I know exactly what game it would be but all my zx time has been tied into z88dk for a year now... brand new libraries, now documentation needs to be written, a new release should be made soon, and after that I still need to do disk io. It's like a job  |

Don't be afraid to use sdcc with z88dk -- when you use it this way you get the fastest and smallest code that sdcc can generate. I'll try to add a simple sp1 example to www.z88dk.org/wiki/doku.php?id=temp:front#examples tonight so you can see how to use sdcc in combination with sp1. I'll make sure to describe how to make the program minimum size too from the library and crt side. I'm in a different time zone so tonight probably means 8-9 hours from now |

From there it goes into some advanced discussion that would enlighten if it is up your alley. In particular, the heap is moved to address 23296. I haven't finished the section on configuring sp1 which would allow the display area to be shrunk and memory saved that way. It will probably take another evening to finish that. After that I will add some examples using Shiru's beepfx and a tritone music player using music from beepola. This player is able to run code at the same time as playing beeper music which has not yet been done elsewhere. Of course all of it uses more memory but hopefully not too much. |
